This treatment addresses sagging skin, deeper folds (such as the nasolabial fold and marionette's groove), and drooping cheeks (\"hamster cheeks\"). This gives you a fresher, tighter appearance and makes you look 10 years younger on average.<\/p>\n<p>Your plastic surgeon will discuss with you which technique is most suitable. Depending on your wishes and needs, you can choose from techniques such as the mini-lift, MACS lift or SMAS lift. The result is natural and long-lasting :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Preparation : the skin is cleaned and you are given a local anaesthetic.<\/li>\n<li>Skin and muscle tightening : the surgeon makes an incision in a natural crease in front of the ear, continuing into the head hair. Muscle layers are then tightened with lifting loops placed deep into the tissue.<\/li>\n<li>Excess skin removal : after skin tightening, excess tissue is removed. The incisions are closed with subcutaneous sutures and special skin glue.<\/li>\n<li>Neck and chin : if necessary, fat is removed via liposculpture to give the neck and chin a tight contour.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>\n\t\t\tWho is a facelift suitable for?\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>From around 40 years of age, the skin starts to age visibly.
