From the age of 40, fatty tissue in the face shrivels up little by little, and this phenomenon is especially visible around eyes and mouth. The mini facelift tightens sagging skin back up. Think neck, corners of the mouth and 'hamster cheeks'. However, a lift does not address the disappearance of this subcutaneous fat tissue, nor does it do anything to improve the quality of the skin.
Lipofilling places the lost fatty tissue back the face. Lipofilling makes the difference between a successful facelift and a particularly successful one. The fatty tissue is removed in places where you want to get rid of it, for example abdomen, hips or inside of the knee. This is done using liposculpture. The aspirated fat is filtered until only fat cells remain. Then, these fat cells are injected back in. This is done with a fine needle. For example, around eyes and cheeks. Or in wrinkles. To rejuvenate. Or in breasts. To enlarge. An alternative to breast prostheses. The technique is constantly being refined so that more cells survive the fat transfer. Thus a new and efficient anti-ageing remedy is born, alongside mini facelift and laser peeling.
